7 Cars for 7 Teachers

site of the 7 Cars for 7 Teachers press conference
for the 2006 awards ceremony. Shown, left to

7 Teachers
The 7 Teachers of
the Year who received free cars (use for
a year) in the HADA-coordinated
7 Cars for 7 Teachers program,
which has provided 43 cars
so far. The program was started
by the Volkswagen Dealers
of Hawaii who provided a free
Volkswagen Jetta (use for year) to Elle
Tepper, the year 2000 State
Teacher of the Year.
All seven cars provided in
the 7 Cars for 7 Teachers program
are shown lined up in front of

the Board of Education awards
