In past years HADA provided three $500 scholarships each
year to Honolulu
Community College's Auto Tech Training program. Now, through
the generosity
of donors and bidders at the Hawaii Auto Tech Scholarship
(HATS) auction,
held at the last two HADA conventions, $10,000 to $15,000
is now awarded
annually to scholarship recipients in increments of $1000
each to students
selected by community college programs on four islands.
